Show dialog
To display dialogs, the "ShowDialogAction" is required, in the case of the AlertDialog the "ShowAlertDialogAction".
The following steps are necessary if, for example, a dialog is to be opened by clicking on a control element:
-
Click on the button with the plus symbol to add the ControlEventTrigger visible in the drop-down list to the element.
In the settings, you can select which event it should react to, e.g. "onButtonClick".
-
Right-click on the trigger and select "Add new action".
A dialog window appears in which all available actions are listed.
-
In the "dialog" category, select "ShowdialogAction" and confirm with OK.
The action is added to the trigger.
-
Under Condition showWdialog, select the dialog that you want to display. The "Mode" option specifies whether interaction with the window is required (Modal) or whether the interface can still be operated in the background (NonModal).
