Programming languages

Depending on the project template, EASY UI Designer supports various programming languages in which you can create your own implementations of additional functions. "Supported" means that EASY UI Designer provides various functional templates in the respective programming language. These can be, for example, certain forms or views that are prepared for a specific data display.

C#
C# (also known as C-Sharp) is a type-safe, object-orientated programming language. It is a further development of C and C++, which is also reflected in the syntax. Other influences come from Java and Delphi. The code is compiled into the intermediate language IL (Intermediate Language).
VB.NET
VB.NET (also Visual Basic .NET) is an object-orientated programming language. It is a further development of Visual Basic 6 and closely related to VBScript and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA, e.g. Word, Excel), which is also reflected in the syntax. In some places it is not type-safe! It also supports some programming paradigms from Visual Basic 6, which should simplify the changeover, but lead to atypical non-object-orientated code. The code is compiled into the intermediate language IL (Intermediate Language).
JavaScript
JavaScript is a scripting language that is mainly used in web browsers to extend the functionality of websites. JavaScript can be used for object-orientated or functional programming. As the code is not compiled, a type check only takes place at runtime, i.e. in the browser.

C# and VB.NET can be used to develop projects with the UI technologies Modern UI and Classic UI. JavaScript is used in projects with the UI technology Web UI.
