Acknowledgement type

Determines the acknowledgement philosophy (see alarm statuses) of alarms.

Setting	Description of the
Reset	The user acknowledges the alarms. After acknowledgement, the alarm is removed from the alarm controls by resetting the event bit.
Subject to acknowledgement	The user acknowledges an alarm. The alarm status "Alarm acknowledged" is displayed. The alarm is only removed from the control element after the cause of the alarm has been reset by the PLC.
Double receipt required	The user has the option of acknowledging both the occurrence and the resetting of an alarm.
Not subject to acknowledgement	The occurrence of the alarm can, but does not have to be acknowledged. The alarm is deactivated by resetting the event variable.
