The project explorer node Recipes > Configuration allows system-wide settings of the recipe server. The configuration is carried out in the Property pages window.

The following settings are available:

file format

Defines the format of the recipe file:

XML: A VisiWin-specific XML format.
MS Access: Microsoft Access2000 database.

Sort mode

The parameter defines for all recipe classes how the recipe elements are sorted when called up via the recipe class object.

None: The list of recipe elements does not have a fixed order.
Sort index: The recipe elements are sorted numerically in ascending order according to their sort index parameter.
Variable name: The recipe elements are sorted alphabetically in ascending order according to their Variable parameter.

Number of simultaneous orders

Defines the number of orders that the recipe server can buffer. A job is the request for a transfer function (loading, saving, reading or writing a recipe). The requests from transfer functions are buffered and processed one after the other.
