L_IF1P_FunctionsConnections

Function blocks (FB) are provided in this library to connect functions to devices in the device tree or to disconnect existing connections.

In the following, EtherCAT slaves and IO modules are referred to as devices and motion and encoder axes as functions.

In contrast to offline parameterization, it is possible to connect an already connected function (e.g. an AxisRef function that is controlled by a FAST technology module) to a new device (EtherCat device) immediately without first disconnecting the existing connection. The function currently connected to a device (EtherCat device) is automatically disconnected.
