MC_DIRECTION

This enumeration of INT data type codes the traversing direction.

Designator

Value

Info

mcCurrentDirection

0

Maintenance of current direction of rotation considering the start velocity.

Starting velocity ³ 0: For behaviour see mcPositiveDirection

Starting velocity < 0: For behaviour see mcNegativeDirection

mcPositiveDirection

1

Movement in positive direction of rotation.

The maximum positioning distance is one cycle length.

  • Target position ³ cycle length: Transition to Modulo cycle
  • Target positions < 0: Not permissible

Target position = current setpoint position:
In this special case, no movement takes place.

mcNegativeDirection

2

Movement in negative direction of rotation.

The maximum positioning distance is one cycle length.

  • Target position ³ cycle length: Not permissible
  • Target position < 0: Transition to Modulo cycle

Target position = current setpoint position:
In this special case, no movement takes place.

mcShortestWay

3

Shortest distance of the track calculation of mcPositiveDirection and mcNegativeDirection.

The maximum positioning distance is one cycle length.

The target position is always transferred to the Modulo cycle.

mcPositiveCycle

11

Only relevant for "Modulo" traversing range: Movement in positive direction of rotation.

Positioning distances of several cycle lengths are possible.

  • Target position ³ cycle length: The target position is approached in the following cycle (+n).
  • Target position < 0: Not permissible
  • Target position = current setpoint position:
In this special case, a movement by one rotation takes place.

mcNegativeCycle

12

Only relevant for "Modulo" traversing range: Movement in negative direction of rotation.

Positioning distances of several cycle lengths are possible.

  • Target positions ³ cycle length: Not permissible
  • Target positions < 0: The target position is approached in the previous cycle (-n).
    • The absolute target position in a cycle results from the Modulo calculation of the negative target position:
      Target = -10 º 350 (absolute target position)
    • Target position = current setpoint position:
In this special case, a movement by one rotation takes place.
