L_TB1P_TensionCurve

In case of centre winders, the drive torque is transmitted from the centre via the individual layers up to the winder surface. In case of smooth materials and high diameter areas, it is mostly required to reduce the tensile force depending on the diameter.

This FB serves to generate a tensile force characteristic depending on the diameter.

The characteristic is marked by an initial range with constant evaluation (100 %) and a second range where the tensile force is adapted to the diameter.

Selection of the characteristic

The part of the characteristic depending on the diameter can be generated for a linear tensile force profile, a linear torque profile, or on the basis of a characteristic specified.

The corresponding selection is made via the dwSelectCurve input.

The lrStartDiameterPct input is used to define from which diameter onwards the tensile force is to be reduced.

Characteristic for a linear torque profile

Since this characteristic focuses on the linear torque profile, define the gradient of the torque curve via the lrCurveCtrl input for this purpose:

  • At lrCurveCtrl = 100 % the tensile force remains unchanged.
  • For lrCurveCtrl = 0 %, the tensile force is reduced to D0/DMax.

Characteristic for a linear torque profile by specifying the gradient ( lrCurveCtrl )

Course of the tensile force according to a specified characteristic (dwSelectCurve = 2)

The characteristic can be set via alrTensionCurve[1...65] and includes 65 values which are evenly distributed across the diameter range of D0 ... DMax.

Via the lrCurveCtrl input, the gradient of the characteristic can be altered.

With lrCurveCtrl = 0 %, the gradient of the characteristic remains unchanged.
