With this technology module, an electrical shaft can be projected. An electrical shaft uses control techniques to generate the synchronism of axes, consisting of a master axis (master value encoder) and slave axes, the speed and position of which are determined by the master value encoder. Speed synchronism/relative phase synchronism The current speed of the master axis coupling factor determines the speed of the slave axis; i.e. the speed of the slave drive is controlled so the slave and master axes are synchronous in a drift-free manner depending on a specified coupling factor. The slave axis can be coupled to the speed of the master axis without a step change if the slave axis is stationary or if the slave axis is rotating at a basic speed. Contents: Note: In follower and synchronous operation, the technology module does not follow the master axis speed. Instead, it follows the differentiated master position. As a result, any discontinuities in the master position (e.g. homing, clearing the following error, executing QSP) lead to jumps in the follower TM.
