AppShell

The AppShell.html file defines the main view of the visualisation. It contains the basic layout of the visualisation, which consists of at least one menu and the AppPageNavigator.

The project explorer is located on the left-hand side of »EASY UI Designer«. All user interfaces of the project are contained in the client folder under Design.

1. Expand the [Project]_ClientWDesignWviews folder. This folder contains the AppShell.html file, which defines the main view of the application.

2. Double-click on the AppShell.html entry to open the file in the Designer workspace.

The document structure for the file opened in the Designer workspace is displayed below the project explorer, in this case the AppShell.html file. Depending on the selected layout, various entries can be found here. If you click on an entry, the corresponding area in the Designer workspace is highlighted and you can edit its properties in the properties window.

In the main view AppShell.html, the "AppPageNavigator" area serves as a placeholder. The various pages with the actual content are displayed in this area at runtime. Therefore, do not insert any elements in this area.
