Access type

Determines whether a process variable can be accessed read/write.

Setting	Description of the
R	The variable server reads process variable values from the communication component. Write access is not permitted.
W	The variable server writes process variable values to the communication component. Read access is not possible.
R/W	Both read and write access is permitted.
1xR/W	During the initialisation phase of the variable server, the process variable value is read in once, after which only write access is possible.
