The VisiWin logging system module

The VisiWin logging system module is used to record events in log files. A fixed set of events is provided by the system. Further events can be freely defined in the application.

The events provided by the system relate to logon/logoff processes in the user administration and to variable changes in the variable server and recipe server.

Application-specific log events are defined in the log editor at development time. At runtime, they are triggered via the interfaces of the VisiWin.Logging namespace. Each event definition can be uniquely named and assigned to a category. In addition to the textual information, user names, notes etc. can also be stored in the events that occur.
