Change history (recipe data)
Saves automatically recognised changes to the recipe values.
The change history can be configured individually for each recipe class (see Activate change history parameter). If it is active, a change entry is created when a recipe variable is changed. This is saved to the recipe file in addition to the recipe values when the recipe is saved. When loading, all change entries are reloaded from the file back into the memory and can then be displayed.
The following data is saved in a change entry:
- Timestamp
- Date and time of the change.
- User name
- The login name or full name of the user from the user administration who created the note.
- Variable name
- Full name of the variable.
- Old value
- Previous value of the variable.
- New value
- Newly entered value of the variable.
Note: The change history is normally managed with all other recipe data in the recipe buffer. It is created there automatically or can be deleted. The change history is only written to the recipe file when a recipe is saved. The change history can also be read directly from a recipe file to analyse the recipes.
