Data transmission via variables

The basic transfer actions can be triggered by process variables.

The transmission actions generally mentioned in the Data transmission chapter can also be triggered by process variables. These must be defined in the variable server and assigned tothe respective parameters Variable name for ...triggerin the recipe class definition.

Attention: Create individual variables for each recipe class. A trigger variable must not be used in several recipe classes!

The trigger variables must be of data type VT_BOOL or VT_Ix/VT_UIx. To trigger the action, the variable must be set to 1. Once the action has been carried out by the recipe server, it resets the value to 0.

Before setting the Save, Load and Send triggers, the desired recipe name must be written to the variable for file name.

Before setting the Save trigger, an additional description can be written to the variable for Description. This description is then saved in the desired recipe file in addition to the variable values.

Note: Please note that all actions are executed in the server with this type of triggering. The trigger variables could even be set by the PLC!
