Notes (recipe data)

Texts entered individually by the operator.

If the developer of the project has built an interface for entering notes into the project, an operator can add any number of texts as notes to a recipe. These texts are saved in the recipe file in addition to the recipe values when the recipe is saved. When loading, they are loaded from the file back into the memory and can then be displayed.

The following data is saved for a note:

Timestamp: Date and time when the user created the note.
User name: The login name or full name of the user from the user administration who created the note.; Note: Whether the login name or the full name is saved depends on the setting Save full name in runtime data.
Text: The text of the note entered individually by the user.

Note: Notes are normally managed with all other recipe data in the recipe buffer. They can only be created or deleted there. These notes are only written to the recipe file when a recipe is saved. The notes can also be read directly from a recipe file to analyse the recipes.
