File name (export)

Complete file name for the export file.

The desired texts are exported to this named file. Missing directory levels are automatically created on the data storage.

If the option "Create a file for each target language" is activated, the placeholder "{language}" must be included in the complete file name. This placeholder is then replaced when exporting by selecting the option "Replace {language} placeholder with" so that several file names can be generated.

If the file name is selected via the button, the correct file extension is automatically appended to the name and any necessary placeholder is inserted.

Example

Input in the file selection dialogue: "Export1"

Result: "C:\Documents\Project1\Export1.{language}.xls"

The placeholder can also be placed in a different position and specify the name of a folder, for example.

Example: "C:\Documents\Project1\{language}\Export2.xls"
