Developer language

Language in which the developer enters the texts.

If the developer creates new text definitions in the project, he also specifies the text to be displayed in this language in addition to the name of the text definitions. This is normally the developer's native language or has been defined as a company policy.

The developer language is used in various places:

• It is used as the source language during export.

• During import, the source language of the import file is linked to the developer language.

• When using a translation archive, it is linked to the source language in the archive.
