L_MC1P_HWLimitSwitchInterface

This FB is an interface for connecting the HW limit switch of an axis.

The HW limit switches are used for the homing function and the limit switch monitoring.

The hardware limit switches are typically digital hardware switches that are read via the controller’s I/O modules.

The positive hardware limit position xLimitSwitchPos is always in the positive direction of motion of the AxisRef, regardless of the physical direction of rotation of the motor (inverted mounting direction or inverting gearbox). The same applies to the negative hardware limit position xLimitSwitchNeg.

Version note!

Up to and including version 3.31.x of the L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic library, only the last instance called up in the application cycle (technology module or single-axis FB) is evaluated.

From version 3.32.0, all instances called up in the application are evaluated.
