Functions and parameterisation
The parameters contained in the "motion nodes" serve to set the behaviour of the axis functions and to diagnose the axis state. The parameters can be accessed via the tabs.
- These parameters can be accessed from the application via the function blocks MC_ReadParameter and MC_WriteParameter .
- For reading out status information, the function blocks MC_ReadAxisInfo , MC_ReadStatus and MC_ReadMotionState are available. A cyclic call of these function blocks at the start of the program makes the status information accessible and up-to-date during the cycle.
Meaning of index offset and subindex
When a motion axis is inserted into the device tree, a parameter structure is created with an automatically assigned main index and max. 255 subindices (elements). The subindices contain the single parameters of the motion axis. The offset 0 corresponds to the main index with regard to the description.
