Single measurement

For a single measurement, the TouchProbeMode variable of the MC_TRIGGER_REF structure has to be set to "1".

  • A FALSE/TRUE edge at the Execute input starts the single measurement.
  • After the configured event has occurred (one edge or both edges),
    • the respective status outputs ( ValueStored_PosEdge or ValueStored_NegEdge ) are set to TRUE.
    • the saved measured value is provided at RecPosition_PosEdge or RecPosition_NegEdge .
    • the bDone status output is set to TRUE.
  • Another measurement requires a renewed FALSE/TRUE edge at the Execute input.
Permanent measurement

For a permanent measurement, the TouchProbeMode variable of the MC_TRIGGER_REF structure has to be set to "2".

  • A FALSE/TRUE edge at the Execute input starts the permanent measurement.
    • The permanent measurement is executed until an abortion via FB MC_AbortTrigger is carried out.
  • After the first event has occurred (one edge or both edges)
    • the respective status outputs ( ValueStored_PosEdge or ValueStored_NegEdge ) are set to TRUE.
    • the saved measured value is provided at RecPosition_PosEdge or RecPosition_NegEdge .
  • The bDone status output is not set in the "permanent measurement".
  • Another measurement can be started after the abortion via FB MC_AbortTrigger with a renewed FALSE/TRUE edge at the Execute input.
  • The import of a new measured value is indicated at outputs NewValueStored_PosEdge or NewValueStored_NegEdge .
