L_MC2P_TappetRegister

This FB is a tappet group with switch-on/off dynamisation. The FB reads in a defined tappet track and outputs the tappet state for the specified position.

  • A tappet track can contain up to 24 tappets of the same type (position or time-based tappet).
  • By means of a parameterisable dynamic displacement of the tappets, delay times of switching elements connected can be compensated.
  • If further tappet tracks are to be evaluated, further instances of this FB just have to be added to the application.

xEnable

BOOL

TRUE

Start execution of the function block.

FALSE

Complete the execution of the FB, reset outputs xSwitch and xError to FALSE.

Please note the following note in the section Timely switching of cams

xForce

BOOL

TRUE

The xSwitch output is set in accordance with xOutputState , irrespective of xEnable . When xEnable is activated, the cam sequence set is overwritten.

FALSE

The function is inactive.

itfTappetTable

L_MC2P_Tappet_Ref

Tappet track data

lrOffset

LREAL

Offset

  • For position-dependent offset of the tappet track.

lrHysterese

LREAL

Hysteresis for switching threshold

  • If the input position is not stable and the bSwitch output oscillates.

lrReactTimeOn

LREAL

Switch-on position offset

  • Initialisation: 0.000 s

lrReactTimeOff

LREAL

Switch-off position offset

  • Initialisation: 0.000 s
  • This input does not have any function for time-based tappets.

eValueSource

MC_SOURCE

Selection of the position to be used:

  • mcSetValue: Position setpoint
  • mcActualValue: Current position
  • mcCommandedValue: Activated position

byDigitalOutputSel

BYTE

Selection of the digital output to be switched:

  • 0: Tappet signals are set via the xSwitch output
    (default at disconnected input)
  • 1: Channel 1 of an available FastIO hardware
  • 2: Channel 2 of an available FastIO hardware

FALSE

Tappet switched off.

Tappet switched on.

xBusy

TRUE

xError

BOOL

TRUE

An error has occurred. For details see eErrorID .

eErrorID

L_IE1P_Error

If xError = TRUE: Error number for the error that has occurred.

byTappetNo

BYTE

If the position points to a tappet,

  • the output xSwitch is set to TRUE and
  • the number of the active tappet is provided at the byTappetNo output.
Note: No overlapping tappets can be projected.

If the position is outside of a tappet, a zero is provided at the output byTappetNo .

lrTimeOnRelative

LREAL

Relative position by which the switch-on position of the tappet is shifted. The path is calculated from the current velocity and the selection from the lrReactTimeOn input.

lrTimeOffRelative

LREAL

Relative position by which the switch-off position of the tappet is shifted. The path is calculated from the current velocity and the selection from the lrReactTimeOff input.
