Options for the target systems

In the [DEVICExxx] section, you define the options for the respective target system to which you want to load the application.

The following options can be defined in the [DEVICE] section:

key

Parameters

The default setting is shown in bold. This applies if no parameter is specified.

NodeAddress

Examples

Name of the bus server and address of the target system.

  • Different settings are possible depending on the bus system.

Communication via system bus.

  • Note: The "SDO" parameter must also be specified!

  • The target system has the CAN node address "11".

NodeAddress=Lenze OPC Systembus Server.

Communication via diagnostic adapter.

If only one diagnostic adapter is connected to the PC, the default address "0" can be used.

NodeAddress=Lenze OPC Diagnostics Server.0

Communication via several diagnostic adapters.

If several diagnostic adapters are connected to the PC, the unique serial number of each diagnostic adapter is required for addressing.

  • The serial number (S/N) is printed on the diagnostic adapter.

  • In the following example, the diagnostic adapter has the serial number "00002485".

IPNodeAddress=Lenze OPC Diagnostics Server.

Communication via Ethernet NRT.

  • The default value "1" should be used as the address.

  • The IP address must be specified with the "IP" parameter.

NodeAddress=EASY TCP/IP

Communication via Ethernet NRT with Lenze controllers.

  • The default value "1" should be used as the address.

  • The IP address must be specified with the "IP" parameter.

  • The parameters "FtpUser" and "FtpPassword" must be used to download PLC programmes.

NodeAddress=Lenze Digitec OPC Tunnel.

Communication via EtherCAT with Beckhoff controllers.

  • In the following example, the target system has the EtherCAT address "1003".

  • The IP address of the Beckhoff controller must be specified with the "IP" parameter.

  • The AMS Net-ID of the connection must be specified with the "NetId" parameter.

  • The parameters "AuthenticateUser" and "AuthenticatePassword" must be used to authenticate the connection.

NodeAddress=ADS Ethercat.1003

Communication via OPC UA.

  • The IP address must be specified with the "IP" parameter.

NodeAddress=EASY OPC UA

Communication via Lecom.

  • The target system has the LECOM node address "5".

NodeAddress=Lenze OPC Lecom Server.

IP

Enter the IP address of the target device.

  • Note: The dots in the IP address must be replaced by underscores.

    Example: 203_0_113_195 instead of 203.0.113.195.

  • The IP address must be specified for communication with Ethernet NRT, OPC UA and EtherCAT with Beckhoff controllers.

SDO

Specify parameter channel (1 or 2) for communication.

  • Specification is only required for communication via system bus (CAN).

  • Tip: For better performance, the same parameter channel should be set for all devices in the script file.

  • The value "0" deactivates the division into parameter channels. This means that the entire range of node addresses can be used.

BinFile

Path and file name of the "Drive PLC Developper Studio" file (*.bin) for the download.

  • This option is not available for target systems without PLC functionality.

  • The specification of this file is optional (only the files specified here are transferred to the target system).

AddDataFile

Path and file name of the "CamDesigner" file/curve data for download: *.lc7 for 9300 servo cam disc/*.lc9 for 9300 servo PLC.

  • This option is not available for target systems that do not support the download of application data.

  • The specification of this file is optional (only the files specified here are transferred to the target system).

ParameterSetFile

Path and file name of the "Global Drive Control" parameter set file (*.gdc) for the download.

  • The specification of this file is optional (only the files specified here are transferred to the target system).

ApplicationFileSet

Path and file name of the "L-force Loader" file (*.lfl) or the "Lenze Device Application" file (*.lda) for the download.

DuplicateParameterSet

Determines whether the parameter set is to be duplicated or whether the target system is a replacement device:

  • 0 = The target system is a replacement device

  • 1 = Duplicate parameter set

Inverter Drives 8400

The following values can also be used for Inverter Drives 8400:

  • 2 = Parameter set without communication parameters

  • 3 = Parameter set without motor parameters

Servo Drives 9400

  • Target devices in this device series ignore the parameter. The parameters to be transferred can be selected in the "Engineer" when exporting the download data.

LECOM

Note: The "Replacement device" function cannot be used in combination with LECOM!

StartAfterDownload

Specifies whether the PLC programme/the 9400 application should start automatically after the download is complete:

  • 0 = Do not start PLC programme/application

  • 1 = Start PLC programme/application automatically.

ControllerEnableAfterDownload

Activates the controller release PLC after the script file has been processed:

  • 0 = Controller lock remains set after processing

  • 1 = Enable drive controller automatically after processing.

FtpUser

Set user name for FTP communication.

Example: FtpUser=admin

FtpPassword

Set password for FTP communication.

Example: FtpPassword=admin

NetID

Specify AMS Net ID of the connection via Beckhoff controller.

Note: The dots of the AMS Net-ID must be replaced by underscores.

Example: 172_31_203_220_2_1 instead of 172.31.203.220.2.1.

The specification is only required for communication via EtherCAT with Beckhoff controllers.

AuthenticateName

Enter the user name of the connection.

The specification is only required for communication via EtherCAT with Beckhoff controllers.

AuthenticatePassword

Enter the password for the connection.

The specification is only required for communication via EtherCAT with Beckhoff controllers.

LoaderPassword

Password for the secure parameter set.

The password for the secure parameter set must correspond to the password that was entered when exporting the data.

This information is only required if a safe parameter set is to be transferred.
