Project menu

The Project menu provides functions that allow to start the project and transfer the project to a target system.

The functions are grouped by task. Certain functions can also be executed by keyboard shortcuts.

Runtime

The Runtime group contains the following functions:

• Start

  Starts the startup project. Keyboard shortcut: F5

Target Device

The Target Device group contains the following functions:

• Target Device Manager

  Shows the Target Device Manager tab in the center of the IDE.

• Add

  Adds a new target device for project transfer.

• Connect

  Bulk operation, establishes a connection to all selected ( Active) target devices.

• Disconnect

  Bulk operation, disconnects all selected ( Active) target devices.

• Deploy

  Bulk operation, deploys all selected ( Deploy/Start) projects on their respective target devices if the device is active ( Active).

• Start

  Bulk operation, starts all selected ( Deploy/Start) projects on their respective target devices if the device is active ( Active).

• Stop

  Bulk operation, stops all selected ( Deploy/Start) projects on their respective target devices if the device is active ( Active).

• Cancel

  Cancels the currently executed bulk operation. The target devices and their projects are cancelled one after the other from the top of the list to the bottom. The cancellation may take a few seconds since the project that was processed when the Cancel button was clicked must be finished.
