Add more items to the responsive menu

This guide shows you how to add further menu items and other elements to the menu in the Responsive layout.

By default, the menu already contains menu items, submenus and separators. You can add further items simply by copying and pasting.

If you haven't already done so, open the main AppShell.html view in the Designer workspace.
In the Designer workspace, select an existing menu item, submenu or separator (depending on the item you want to add to the menu).
Select Copy from the context menu (right mouse button) and then Paste.
The copied item will be pasted at the end of the menu.

We recommend that you first add all the necessary menu items to the menu and then define the order of the items and their properties.
To add more items, repeat steps 2 and 3.
