Free parameters
Free parameters enable the configuration of additional information on the alarms of the project. Whenever Parameter1 and Parameter2 are not sufficient for the developer's information structures, he can fall back on free parameters.
The configuration of free parameters begins in the configuration of the alarm system (project explorer node , Free parameters tab).
The definition of a free parameter causes an additional column to be inserted in the table editor for the alarms. An individual value for the free parameter can be assigned to each alarm in the fields of the column.

The view of a free parameter value can be configured in the alarm lists. Programmatic access for further actions is possible in VisiWin via the client interface (namespace VisiWin.Alarm, types IAlarmService/IAlarmItem, methods GetExtAlarmParam/GetExtParamInfo).
