Reconnect unavailable variables after initialization

Specifies that the variable server should cyclically attempt to re-register the variables that could not be registered in the OPC/OPC UA server during the connection phase.

The cycle for a retry is 10 seconds by default and can be set in the VisiWin 7 Server Manager under Configuration: Project Server > Communication Channels > Auto Restart Delay.

Activating this parameter is useful in cases where it is to be expected that some controllers managed by the OPC/OPC UA server will be temporarily unavailable, but whose variables are to be connected as soon as the respective controller is reconnected.

This parameter is only evaluated if communication with the OPC/OPC UA server is basically available (see Repeat connection attempts after initialisation phase).
