Multiplexervariable adapter

Multiplexers and variable adapters contain an assignment table in the table editor whose columns are configured by creating switching states.

The name of a switchover status can be found in the header of the corresponding column.

Multiplexers interpret the name as the value of the switching variable that must be accepted in order to redirect the corresponding variables in the column fields to the variable named by the alias column.

Variable adapters are configured to a switchover state at development time. In the project explorer, an active switchover state must be defined for each configured variable adapter via the Variables > Variable adapter > Configuration node.
