Enable locking of the user session

Users can lock the application to prevent unauthorized access to the application during their absence. This guide shows you how to implement this in the application.

• Place a control, e.g., a Button, on a page.

• Add a ControlEventTrigger to the button.

  The required triggering event, OnButtonClick, is specified by default.

• Add the LockSessionAction to the trigger.

If the operator presses the button at runtime, the action is triggered. The user is then logged off and the LoginView is displayed. To learn how to display a specific lock page instead of the LoginView after logging off, refer to the guide Display custom lock page.
