Web UI

The manual for Web UI is divided into the following sub-chapters.

Technology

Web UI is based on the technologies HTML5, CSSand JavaScript. Any modern browser can be used to display a web app, such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera or Safari.

Here you can find out which components work together and what preparations need to be made.

Project planning

The graphical user interface is configured visually in EASY UI Designer (see Design). Alternatively, Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code can also be used, for example. However, no graphical development is possible there, only textual editing of HTML, CSS or JavaScript.

Here you can find out how to create a Web UI project and what is involved.

Design

The graphical design of the user interface in EASY UI Designer is done by placing and configuring control elements on so-called pages. A control element is normally the smallest graphical unit, such as a button, a value/text input or output, a list or a graphic. Properties are used to change the appearance of these elements (e.g. Width, Height, BackgroundColor, ForegroundColor) and to define the functionality(IsLimitCheckEnabled, Visibility).

Here you can find out which elements are available for graphic design and how they are parameterised.
