This FB serves to set a virtual absolute offset between the applied master axis and the applied slave axis. The special feature here is that the offset only exists virtually and this FB does not cause any motion control.
- From the view of the slave axis, the virtual offset is located on the master axis without the master axis noting it.
- As soon as an FB for multi-axes movements ( MC_CamIn , MC_GearInPos , ...) is called with the same master slave configuration, the virtual offset is considered automatically.
- An offset set via MC_PhasingAbsolute can be deleted by means of the L_MC2P_ResetPhasing function block without having any impact on the movement of the axis which has been uncoupled in the meantime again.

Inputs
Name Data type |
Information/possible settings |
|---|---|---|
master |
Transfer of the axis data structure of the master axis |
Slave |
Transfer of the axis data structure of the slave axis |
Execute BOOL |
FALSE รค TRUE |
Set phase displacement. |
PhaseShift LREAL |
Absolute phase displacement between master and slave axis |
Velocity LREAL |
Maximum velocity in [unit/s] |
Acceleration LREAL |
Maximum acceleration in [unit/s 2 ] |
Deceleration LREAL |
Maximum deceleration in [unit/s 2 ] |
Jerk LREAL |
Maximum jerk in [unit/s 3 ] |
BufferMode |
Mode for processing successive motion commands |
Note! If a phasing FB is started with BufferMode "mcBuffered" while another phasing FB is currently being executed, the execution of the first phasing FB is aborted and the second phasing FB is started directly. Thus, the behaviour corresponds to the BufferMode "mcAborted" as a call of a second phasing FB with the set BufferMode is not permissible. |
