Absolute design
Projects that have been created in a fixed design(FixTop or FixClassical) are always designed for a specific resolution. However, if new hardware or additional operating devices with similar resolutions result in the requirement to continue using the visualisation already available without having to change the position of the individual control elements, this can be fulfilled using a special layout element.
The ViewBox control element is already integrated in the page templates of projects with a fixed design. It is located below a page in the document structure and contains an AbsoluteLayout as a child element. The objects located within the AbsoluteLayout are scaled if the "Stretch mode" property of the ViewBox is set to uniform and the original resolution of the end device is entered in the "Width" and "Height" properties in the AbsoluteLayout (see Readme.html in the FixTop and FixClassical project). The "Stretch Direction" property can be used to configure the direction in which the scaling should take effect.
