Definition: Trend
A trend defines which process variable is to be recorded in which way. A trend must belong to an archive.
Once you have created a trend in an archive, you can define the parameters for the trend either in the table editor or on the properties pages.
The parameters are grouped on the following tabs on the properties pages:
-
General
This tab contains necessary parameters such as name and trend variable.
-
Recording
This tab contains settings for hysteresis and filtering the data before recording.
