Definition: Archive
An archive defines where and how the trends belonging to the archive are saved. A trend must belong to an archive.
Once you have created an archive, you can define the parameters for the archive either in the table editor or on the properties pages.
The parameters are grouped on the following tabs on the properties pages:
-
General
This tab contains general parameters such as name and text.
-
File settings
The parameters on this tab define, for example, where (file path) and when (file change event) archive files are generated.
-
Recording
The parameters on this tab determine how often data is recorded, e.g. sampling start and sampling time.
