Binding to the user management
Connection of the control element to the VisiWin user administration, e.g. for blocking the operation of a control element.
»EASY UI Designer« Control elements can be locked or made invisible depending on the rights of the logged-in user.
The controls can contain the following properties in the "Authorisation" category:
AuthorisationRight
Expects the name of a rights definition from the project file. A user who has a reference to the right specified here via their group may operate the control. If no right is specified in the property, the control element is always enabled.
AuthorisationMode
The property defines how the control element should react during authorisation.
-
Disabled
If it is not enabled, the control element is deactivated, i.e. it cannot be operated. For many control elements, this status can also be seen graphically (greyed-out text, displayed like an output element).
You can test how the control looks in the "Disabled" state at runtime by activating the "Disabled" property at development time. However, as this property is not only used for testing purposes, but also sets the initial state of the control, remember to remove the tick from the "Disabled" property straight away.
-
Hidden
If it is not enabled, the control element becomes invisible.
-
Collapse
If it is not enabled, the control element becomes invisible.
The setting has a different effect depending on whether the element was placed on a FlexLayout or an AbsoluteLayout:
-
If the element is placed in a FlexLayout, the subsequent elements in the FlexLayout move to the position of this element.
-
If the element is placed in an AbsoluteLayout, the elements following it do not automatically take its place, as the positions of the elements in an AbsoluteLayout are defined by the "Left" and "Top" properties.
