Monitoring
Monitoring is edited in the table editor. They include the following functionality:
- Specification of the variables to be monitored
- Specification of the monitoring criteria (depending on the selected type of parent group)
- Specification of the action for a monitoring event
Parameters

| Output variable | Name of the variable whose value is manipulated during a monitoring event |
| Bit number Output variable | Defines the bit within the variable that triggers the function. |
| Definition active | Determines whether the object definition is valid. |
| Border H/HH/HHH | 1st/2nd/3rd upper limit at which a monitoring event is triggered if the monitored variable value is exceeded |
| Limit L/LL/LLL | 1st/2nd/3rd lower limit below which a monitoring event is triggered when the monitored variable value is undershot |
| Hysteresis | Tolerance for suppressing interference on the monitored value |
| Comment | Optional commentary on the object. |
| Name | Name of the object. |
| Monitoring variable | Variable whose value change triggers a monitoring event |
