Display of certain content through user interaction with the control element.

Some controls can display the page or view assigned to them when they are clicked or tapped.

The following properties are available in the "Navigation" category to configure the content to be displayed:

Defines the page that is displayed instead of the current page when the button is pressed. A page can be selected from the list of available pages in the project in the properties field.

Defines the page that is to be displayed instead of the current page if the button is in the "on" or "off" state at runtime. A page can be selected from the list of available pages in the project in the properties field.

Sets the region into which the view specified in the property will be loaded when the user clicks or touches the navigation control. The drop-down menu only includes named regions. The view for the Button control is indicated in the ViewName property, for the ToggleButton in the ViewOn and ViewOff properties. For the TabBar control, the views are set in the ViewName property of the subordinate TabButton or MenuItem controls.

To name a control, select the control in the designer or in the Document Outline and type the desired name into the Name field in the Properties window.

Specifies that when the user clicks on the control, the LoadingPage/LoadingView will be displayed instead of the actual page/view as long as that page/view is loading.

Applies to: Button, ToggleButton, TabButton, MenuItem as well as the actions SetViewAction and NavigateToPageAction.

Sets the page that the TabButton will show after application startup.

Sets the view that will be loaded into the region set in the RegionId property at application startup. The view set in the StartViewName property of the TabBar is automatically set in the ViewName property of the associated region.

Defines the view that is loaded into the region defined via the "RegionId" property when the button is pressed. A view can be selected from the list of views available in the project in the properties field.

The "PageName"/"PageOn"/"PageOff" properties are prioritised over the "ViewName"/"ViewOn"/"ViewOff" properties. This means: If both a page is specified in the "Page..." property and a view is specified in the "View..." property, the control element navigates to the specified page and ignores the view.
