Definition: Unit objects
Unit definitions represent the switching options of a unit class. The key information here is the formula for conversion and the specification of the state (language or process variable value) that must be assumed for the formula to become active.
Unit objects include the following functionality, among others:
-
Enter the conversion via a two-point definition (linear equation via x1, y1, x2, y2).
-
Additional specification of a unit text
-
Shifting of decimal places so that integer values appear as floating point values in the visualisation
